Privacy Policy
Effective October 10, 2026 · Last updated October 10, 2026
Home Internet Check is run by P50 Digital LLC, an independent retailer that helps you compare and order home internet service from providers that serve your address. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who receives it, and how to opt out.
1. Who we are
P50 Digital LLC, doing business as Home Internet Check ("Home Internet Check," "we," "us," or "our"), operates homeinternetcheck.com. We are an independent, authorized retailer and marketer of home internet services offered by third-party providers. We are not an internet service provider, we do not own a network, and we do not set providers' prices or plan terms.
This policy covers information we collect through our website, by phone and text, and through our advertising. It applies to residents of the United States only. Our services are not directed to people outside the United States.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us on our website
- ZIP code, which you enter to start checking options in your area.
- Contact information: first name, last name, mobile phone number and email address.
- Optional answers on our confirmation page, such as your current internet provider and whether you would prefer a plan without a credit check.
Consent records
The date and time you agreed to be contacted, your IP address and browser at that moment, the page you were on, and the version of the consent wording shown to you. We use a third-party service, ActiveProspect TrustedForm, to record your visit to our form page (such as what was displayed and what you typed and clicked) and create a certificate documenting your consent. We, and companies that need to confirm your consent, may review that certificate.
Information you give us by phone
When you speak with a specialist, you may give us your service address, your current provider and bill, and what you need from a plan. If you decide to order, the provider you choose may require information to check eligibility, verify your identity and set up your account, such as your date of birth, all or part of your Social Security number, a government ID, and a payment card. We collect that information only to submit your order or eligibility check to that provider.
We do not ask for Social Security numbers, government ID numbers or payment card numbers on our website. Please do not enter them in our forms.
Information collected automatically
- Device and connection data, such as IP address, browser type, operating system, and approximate location inferred from your IP address.
- Usage data, such as pages viewed, how you arrived at our site, and how you interact with our form.
- Advertising and campaign identifiers in the web address you arrive on, such as fbclid, gclid, ttclid, msclkid, and utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content and utm_term tags.
Information from others
We may receive information from advertising platforms, from marketing partners who send us inquiries you submitted on their sites with consent to be contacted by us, and from providers, including whether an order was completed or activated.
3. How we use information
- To check which providers and plans may be available at your address and help you compare them.
- To contact you by phone, text or email about home internet and related services you asked about, including with automated technology where you have consented.
- To submit eligibility checks and orders to the provider you choose, at your request.
- To create and keep records of your consent, which we may need to produce.
- To train and supervise our specialists and maintain quality, including by reviewing call recordings.
- To measure and improve our advertising, including reporting conversions to advertising platforms.
- To detect and prevent fraud, invalid submissions and abuse.
- To comply with law and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
4. Calls, recordings and transcripts
Calls with Home Internet Check may be recorded and transcribed, including by automated speech-to-text and AI tools, for quality assurance, training, compliance, and to document what was agreed. By speaking with us you consent to this recording.
Recordings and transcripts are kept with the same safeguards as other customer information and are accessible only to authorized staff and the vendors that provide our phone and transcription systems. Any payment card or Social Security numbers spoken on a call are masked or redacted in transcripts where our systems allow.
5. How we share information
We share information only as described here:
- Internet service providers you choose. To check availability and eligibility at your address and to place your order. Once a provider receives your information, its own privacy policy governs how it uses it.
- Service providers working for us, such as website hosting, lead management, calling and texting systems, call recording and transcription, email delivery, contact verification and analytics. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
- Advertising platforms, including Meta, for conversion measurement as described in section 7.
- Legal and corporate recipients, where required by law or legal process, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition or sale of assets.
We do not sell your contact information to other marketers or lead buyers. Because providers pay us when you order through us, and because we use advertising platforms for measurement, some of our activity may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under certain state laws. See sections 8 and 9 for your rights and how to opt out.
6. Calls, texts and your consent
By clicking the button on our form, you agree that P50 Digital LLC (Home Internet Check) may contact you at the phone number and email you provided about home internet and related services, including by automatic telephone dialing systems, artificial or prerecorded voice, and text messages, even if your number is on a Do Not Call list. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Text message terms are in our SMS Terms.
7. Cookies, pixels and advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API, to understand how people use our site and to measure our advertising. These may record page views, form interactions and completed submissions, and may link that activity to an advertising profile held by the platform. We may send advertising platforms hashed (irreversibly encoded) versions of identifiers such as your email address or phone number so they can match a conversion to an ad.
You can limit this by:
- Turning on Global Privacy Control in your browser. When our site detects it, we do not load the Meta Pixel and do not send your submission to advertising platforms.
- Adjusting your ad preferences with the platform, for example Meta's Ad Preferences.
- Using your browser's cookie controls or a private window.
- Using the industry opt-out tools at optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org.
8. Your privacy rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know and access the personal information we have about you, and receive a copy.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your information, subject to legal exceptions such as keeping consent and do-not-call records.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your information and of targeted advertising (section 9).
- Limit the use of sensitive information. We use sensitive information collected on calls, such as Social Security numbers, only to process orders you request.
- Non-discrimination. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
- Appeal a decision on your request by replying to it. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state attorney general.
These rights apply to residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana and others as their laws take effect. Residents of other states may also submit requests, and we will respond as required by law.
To make a request, email privacy@homeinternetcheck.com, call (888) 506-4061, or write to us at the address in section 14. We verify requests by matching what you provide against our records and may ask for more information. An authorized agent may submit a request with your written permission. We respond within the time required by law, generally 45 days, and may extend that period where permitted.
California "Shine the Light." We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
9. Do not sell or share my personal information
You can tell us to stop selling or sharing your information, and to stop using it for targeted advertising, at any time. See our Do Not Sell or Share page, email privacy@homeinternetcheck.com with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share," call (888) 506-4061, or turn on Global Privacy Control. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of anyone under 16.
10. How long we keep information
We keep information as long as needed for the purposes in this policy and to meet legal obligations. Because claims under telephone consumer protection laws can be brought years after a call, we generally keep consent records, do-not-call records and call recordings for at least five years. Sensitive information collected to place an order, such as Social Security numbers, is used to submit that order and is not kept in our lead records. Advertising and analytics data is kept for shorter periods consistent with the platforms we use.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit and restricted access to customer data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Children
Our services are for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Other sites and changes to this policy
Our site may link to websites we do not operate, including provider websites. Their privacy practices are their own. We may update this policy; when we do, we will change the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be posted on this page.
